Bondi/Mazotti

WEDDING: Bondi/Mazotti: Jessica Bondi and Zachary Mazotti were married Dec. 21, 2012 at Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore.

Jessica, daughter of Joseph and Shirley Bondi of Morgan Hill, graduated from Ann Sobrato High School in 2009. She completed and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology just six days before her wedding. She has secured employment as a support facilitator working with adults with disabilities in the Davis area.

Zachary, son of Tom and AnneMarie Gouveia of Dublin, teaches math and physics at a private high school in Woodland.

Jessica met Zach in her freshman year at the University of California, Davis. The ceremony was witnessed by 150 of the couple’s family and friends and was followed by a reception at the restaurant located at Poppy Ridge. They went to the island of Oahu in Hawaii for their honeymoon and reside in the Davis area.

Sydney Main

Sydney Main, of Morgan Hill, a junior majoring in economics and finance, earned a spot on George Fox University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester. Students had to earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better to land a spot on the list.

George Fox University is ranked by Forbes among the top Christian universities in the country and is a Christian college classified by U.S. News & World Report as a first-tier regional university.

Madison Cline

Madison Cline of Gilroy, a freshman majoring in Christian ministries, earned a spot on George Fox University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester. Students had to earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better to land a spot on the list.

George Fox University is ranked by Forbes among the top Christian universities in the country and is a Christian college classified by U.S. News & World Report as a first-tier regional university.

Amy Fearnside

Amy Fearnside, of Morgan Hill, was named to the Dean’s List at Jamestown College, Jamestown, N.D., for the 2012 fall semester. The Dean’s List includes all full-time students who, during any given semester, earn a grade point average of 3.50 or better on a minimum of 12 semester credits.

Established in 1883, Jamestown College is a private, liberal arts four-year college granting bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, and bachelor of science in nursing degrees as well as master’s degrees in education.

Tiyana Rogers

Tiyana Rogers, a freshman biology major from Gilroy, made the Dean’s List at California Lutheran University for the fall semester. Students qualified for the fall Dean’s List by maintaining a 3.6 grade point average in their academic subjects.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, with centers in Oxnard, Woodland Hills and Santa Maria for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program.

Brian Hix

Brian Hix, a sophomore music major from Morgan Hill, made the Dean’s List at California Lutheran University for the fall semester. Students qualified for the fall Dean’s List by maintaining a 3.6 grade point average in their academic subjects.

James Lafuente

James Nicolas Lafuente, a senior art major from Gilroy, was named to the Culver-Stockton College Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester. Dean’s List students have earned between a 3.5 and 3.99 GPA and were enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours, with no grade lower than a C.

Culver-Stockton College is a private, liberal arts college located in Canton, Mo.

Jessica Westall

Jessica Westall, of Morgan Hill, was named to the Dean’s List at Baylor University for the 2012 fall semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

A private Christian university and a nationally ranked liberal arts institution, Baylor is classified as a research university with “high research activity” by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Kelsey Westall

Kelsey E. Westall, of Morgan Hill, was named to the Dean’s List at Baylor University for the 2012 fall semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

A private Christian university and a nationally ranked liberal arts institution, Baylor is classified as a research university with “high research activity” by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
