Possession of a controlled substance, Lovers Lane

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Lovers Lane at 4 p.m. Thursday. After contacting the 30-year-old Morgan Hill man in the vehicle they learned he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

CRIMINAL REPORTS

Trespassing, Grand Theft, San Juan Drive

A property manager reported to sheriff’s deputies that unknown suspects had destroyed a fence and stolen window panels from a vacant property under her care. Damage and loss was estimated at $2,500. The report was made at midnight Nov. 29.

Mail theft, Sommerset Drive

Deputies took a report of mail theft in the 200 block of Sommerset Drive at 6 p.m. Nov. 19. The reporting party stated that she believed several checks as well as other miscellaneous mail items were taken.

Tampering with vehicle, unknown location

Police responded to a report Nov. 25 of a vehicle that had been tampered. The reporting party stated that the vehicle’s wiring was “hanging loose” and that the vehicle was inoperable. The victim wished to document the incident for insurance purposes.
