The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help regarding a case of shots fired near Buena Vista Road on Monday.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office:
San Benito County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to reports of “shots fired” in the 900 block of Buena Vista Rd. Upon arrival, they discovered a small black sedan was seen driving in the area and two witnesses saw a subject fire what appeared to be a handgun from inside the car. The subject was aiming in the direction of a house.
Inspection of the scene found what appeared to be five small caliber bullet holes in the metal roll-up door of a detached structure (garage). No persons were hit and/or injured and there is no further information.
