More than 80 businesses in San Benito County have signed on to participate in the Holiday Cheer Shop Hop, an effort to highlight the offerings of local businesses and to offer a chance for holiday shopping without leaving the county.
Shoppers will have a chance to win free gift certificates to spa treatments, clothing, restaurants, computer tune-ups gourmet chocolates and more. The participating businesses have made donations of items to fill 15 gift baskets that will be given away after the shop hop. Shoppers can put their name in for a drawing at each location they visit. At last count there were 84 businesses signed on, with many in Hollister and San Juan Bautista.
