SANTA CRUZ

Due to a scheduling conflict, the Anzar boys soccer team’s Coastal Athletic League match at Pacific Collegiate on Tuesday was postponed until Friday.

The two teams will meet up in Santa Cruz at 3:30 p.m. for the regular-season finale. On Thursday, the Hawks will host York in San Juan Bautista at 3:30 p.m. Both games will go a long way in determining the final standings in the CAL, and could determine whether the Hawks will advance to the Division V playoffs.

Had Anzar played on Tuesday, though, it would have been the team’s third game in four days. On Saturday, Anzar tied Marina 2-2 in San Juan Bautista, then trumped Trinity Christian by an easy 10-0 margin on Monday.

The Hawks are now 3-3-2 in the CAL and 3-7-2 overall.
