After two close overtime wins, the San Benito girls soccer team lost the Watsonville Tournament’s championship game 1-0 to Harbor on Monday.

Like the other games of the tournament, the Baler defense played well, limiting the Harbor chances. But in the 30th minute, Harbor scored the only goal of the game off the foot of Erin Woods.

San Benito couldn’t score, and finished the tournament without scoring a goal in regulation.

San Benito will travel to Live Oak High in Morgan Hill on Wednesday for another non-league game. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

Christopher used goals by Calin McCarry, Paulina Llamas, Ema Morley, Jamie Lanz and Gina Rodriguez to bury the Hawks.

Anzar High hosts Everett Alvarez at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
