Brianna McCain and Myra Quezada each scored three goals apiece and the Anzar Hawks routed visiting Trinity Christian 9-0 in Coastal Athletic League play on Tuesday in San Juan Bautista.

The game was called at halftime after Trinity Christian, which was only competing with 11 players, lost two players to injury in the first half, leaving the private Monterey school with just nine players at the break.

Nevertheless, the Hawks still posted a nine-spot on Trinity (formerly Calvary Christian) in the first half.

Sydnee Masuen, Stephanie Lavarone and Michelle Chatley each added a goal for the Hawks, while McCain, Masuen and Monica Medina each had two assists.

Quezada, Chatley and Lauren Bellone all added an assist as well.

Anzar, which previously defeated Trinity Christian 11-0 on Jan. 13, improves to 2-2 in the CAL and 6-5 overall.

The Hawks will visit Marina on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
