Hagen tourney tips off
Boys basketball fans will have a chance to watch local action as the Bob Hagen Memorial Tournament continues today and Saturday at Gilroy High. Gilroy and Christopher will be joined at the tourney by Live Oak, San Benito, Anzar, Aptos, Harbor and Pioneer. The varsity title game is set for 4 p.m. Saturday.

After playing three games in three days, the Anzar boys soccer team improved to 2-1-1 Wednesday with a 2-1 win over KIPP Collegiate in San Juan Bautista. It was the Hawks second-consecutive win after defeating Pinewood School 3-0 Tuesday.
