At age 74, died February 25, 2011 of natural causes. Steve was a longtime resident of Morgan Hill, CA. He was a loving father, enthusiastic motorcyclist, memorabilia collector and a joyful presence to all who knew him.

Born Albert Hampton Campodonico, in San Francisco, CA, on September 19, 1936, to the proud parents of Albert and Ellen Campodonico. He was the oldest of three sons and included in a family of 12 first cousins, most of which still live in the bay area.

Steve worked for the New Century Beverage Company until 1986, when he retired and pursued his interests in Jeep four-wheeling and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He traveled extensively throughout California and the western United states in pursuit of the open road.

Steve is survived by his loving daughters Lisa Ladd of Redwood City and Elena Pyle of Morgan Hill, his brothers John Campodonico of San Francisco and Tony Campodonico of Kentfield and his beloved grandchildren Brandon, Megan, Gunner and Jessie. Special appreciation to his son-in-laws Greg Pyle and Bill Ladd who were always there for him.

The family will have a private memorial gathering to celebrate his life.
