Students between the ages of 12 and 18 who plan to work this summer need to make sure they fill out a work permit and have their employer keep that permit on file.

Students who plan to work can obtain the work permit at their school attendance offices. Each school has authorized personnel who approve the applications and process work permits for students attending the school.

Students are encouraged to have their work permits completed before school is on summer vacation.
