Balloons are released at the inaugural event.

A fundraiser put on Sept. 20  raised over $10,000 for the Casillas-Gardner Family and Friends Relay for Life Team. The promoters that put on the event were L&L Productions, WGAS and Correa Customz.
Pink boxes were filled with balloons that the attendees were able to write loved ones names and/or messages on before being released during an opening ceremony event where both trucks pulled away and released the balloons. The Relay For Life Team had a concession stand, and there were raffle prizes.
