She kept a special area in her classroom with a rocking chair and a miniature porcelain castle that had a light for story time. The children would sit in a circle and read together. She loved the stories of Beatrix Potter and used them to enhance the time she had with her children. She always would have teas for the children as a fun activity for all. Her favorite costume at Halloween was that as a “Fairy God-Mother” and she was one in real life. She was always happy to see her students and was very proud of their accomplishments.
