Born Assuntina Romano in Aprigliano, Italy in 1907. Resident of Santa Clara County for 75 years, where she and her late husband, Eugene Coscarelli, operated a prune orchard. She was a wonderful mother and talented seamstress. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Angela Coscarelli; her treasured grandchildren, Michael (Cathy) Bocca, Elena (Tim) Dietrich, Brad (Chiara) Coscarelli and Scott (Pamela) Coscarelli; her beloved brother, John Romano; her caring daughter-in-law, Marilyn Coscarelli; her loving great-randchildren: Joe and Megan Dietrich, Lauren and Matthew Bocca, Ashley, Alexandria and Will Coscarelli, and Andrew and Allison Coscarelli. She also is survived by her wonderful care-giver, Mary Lou Herrera, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Gene L. Coscarelli, her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Frank Bocca, and her treasured grandson, Tim Coscarelli.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 13, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. with a Vigil Service to commence at 7:00 P.M., both at JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Parish, 17400 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill. Interment to follow.
