Freshman Czarina Isleta picked up two more Central Coast Section qualifying times on Wednesday and the San Benito High swimming team defeated Gilroy’s Christopher High in both the boys and girls meets.

Christopher didn’t compete with a varsity boys team, and San Benito won the match 70-0 as a result. On the girls side, only two swimmers competed for Christopher, allowing the Lady Balers to win the dual meet 76-21.

Despite the lacking numbers, though, San Benito’s Isleta tacked on two more CCS times on Wednesday in Hollister. Isleta recorded a 55.75 in the 100 free and a 1:02.63 in the 100 back, giving the freshman six CCS times this season.

Isleta has already posted qualifying times in the 200 IM, the 100 fly, the 200 free and the 100 breast.

San Benito will visit rival Gilroy on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
