Sylvia V. Garcia November 26, 1943 – March 3, 2014

 On March 3, 2014, Sylvia V. Garcia passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family.
 Sylvia was born in Brownsville, TX on November 26, 1943, to parents Pedro and Laurentina Vasquez. 
 While working at Aristocrat Trailers, she met and married Porfirio Garcia. They settled in Morgan Hill in 1971.
 Sylvia was not only a stay at home mother of three but also helped her husband run his roofing business.  
 Later, she enjoyed babysitting several of her nephews and grandchildren.
 She will be most remembered by her smile, her calm and loving way, and her never-ending supply of gum.
 Sylvia leaves behind her husband, Porfirio Garcia of Coulterville, daughter Tricia Garcia-Ojeda (Jess) of Morgan Hill, sons Porfirio Garcia (Stephanie) of Gilroy and Leonardo Garcia of Lebanon, MO. Grandmother to Lexie, Maya, Emiliano, Eliana, Leylah, Justina and Mykio. Great-grandmother to Davina, Domonique and Arthur. She also leaves behind her sisters Ane Galvan and Prajedis Garza, brothers Joe and Manuel Vasquez.
 Preceded in death by both her parents and siblings Pedro Vasquez, Elvia Cabrera and infant sister Irene.
