Tammi Donovan of Hollister, CA went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a battle with cancer, at the age of 45.

She is survived by her husband, Ron, and children, Mackenzie (17) and twins, Matti and Troy, (15). She leaves behind parents, Jim and Oneca Shaw, also of Hollister, sister, Heide (and husband Matt) Giles, of Ft. Hood, TX., her “Special Aunt” Novita Donovan and husband Wayne who drove out from Virginia to help care for her during the last 6 weeks of her life, cousin Tiffany Donovan from Encino, and cousin Kelley Burkey from Oxnard.

Tammi was born in Oxnard, CA and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy at University of the Pacific in Stockton in 1989. She has been a pharmacist for 21 years, serving the last 18 years at Wapples Pharmacy in Nob Hill. Tammi’s life was devoted to her children. She loved them, home schooled them, and made serving the Lord a priority in their life and the life of her family. Remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend, Tammi will always have a special place in our hearts.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. at Grace Bible Church, 634 Monterey St., Hollister, CA. Graveside services will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassion Pregnancy Services of Hollister.
