Ted S. Pappas passed away suddenly Thursday evening at St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy. He was born in Greece and came to Hollister 5 years ago. Ted had been a plant supervisor for General Mills for 15 years.
He was the husband of Mahi Pappas of Hollister, father of Spiro Papadopoulos of San Ramon, Gregory Papadopoulos, wife, Diana, of Cupertino, Gus Papadopoulos of Patterson and Lola Bayer, husband, Karl, of Hollister. Also survived by 6 grandchildren.
The Triacagon was last evening, Friday, at 7 PM at the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 424 Park St., Salinas. Funeral services will be today, Saturday, at 10 AM at the church in Salinas with burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery, 1100 Hillcrest Rd., Hollister.
