TERESA GONZALEZ, 47, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with gastric cancer. Daughter of Manuel R. Gonzalez of Gilroy and the late Jessie Gonzalez. Mother of Monica Lara, Michael Gonzalez, Ray Ramos Jr. and Adam Ramos all of Gilroy. Grandmother of Chico, Lil Bubba, Jayden, Alexus, Jazmine, Malachi and Erlinda. Sister of Joey Gonzalez, Rosalie Yanez, Connie Gallardo, Socorro De La Cruz and Jessica Sustaita all of Gilroy. Also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and nephews, sister and brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, and cousins who all have been supportive and caring. Also her beloved Pomeranian, Mani. Her family would like to thank all her loving and devoted friends who comforted and cared for her during her illness. A native of Gilroy.
Terry was a devout Miami Dolphin fan and very active in her children and grandchildren’s baseball and football sports. She was known for her enthusiasm and spirit when cheering on her teams. She lived life to the fullest, loved music, the color orange, enjoyed bowling and the beauty of dolphins. She was a graduate of Gavilan College and worked at Kaiser Santa Teresa Hospital in the Occupational Medicine Department. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Gilroy.
