Teresa passed away at the age of 66, after a prolonged battle with cancer. Beloved mother of Victor (Angela) Lopez; Loving grandmother of Gabriel and Xochitl Lopez.
She was born in Navasfrias, province of Salamanca in Spain and moved to Gilroy in 1972. She was the Co-owner of El Charrito Market from 1976 to 1989. Teresa loved to work in her garden and do creative art and crafts. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 6:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 11 First Street, Gilroy, CA. Inurnment will be Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
