The San Benito County Free Library offers two programs for helping students with their homework. Kids Club, sponsored by the Friends of the Library and funded by United Way, meets Wednesday afternoons, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The first session helps them with homework; the last session is devoted to crafts or entertainment.

The other program is Live Homework Help which is an online tutoring program using the computers in the library. There are six computers in English and two in Spanish. Students get live help in several subjects: math, social science, English and science.

For parents feeling inadequate in helping their children with their homework, these would be two good alternatives to help the students further their studies.
