Thomas Rowe passed away at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield on April 3rd at the age of 50 years.
Tommy was a native of San Juan Bautista, a graduate of San Juan Grammar School and San Benito High School who pursued a career as a mechanic in the automotive industry for over 20 years. “He was very capable mechanic”, said his family. “He loved to fiddle with automobiles and ride motorcycles.” He was a member of the Mission San Juan Bautista Parish and a lifelong resident of San Benito County. Tommy is survived by his son Michael Thomas Rowe of Hollister; brothers George Rowe Jr. of San Juan Bautista; Russ Ramirez (spouse Mary) of Las Vegas; Robert Medina (spouse Mary) of Georgetown; Edmund Rowe (spouse Sheri) of San Juan Bautista; his sister Bernadette Vaccarezza (spouse Ron) of Hollister; many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He was predeceased by his parents George Rowe Sr. and Rosie Rowe and his brother John Rowe. Private cremation has been held. Friends are invited to the graveside service on Thursday April 10th at 11:00 A.M. at San Juan District Cemetery. Officiant will be Fr. Edward FitzHenry. Donations are preferred to Michael Thomas Rowe’s educational fund c/o Bernadette Vaccarezza c/o the mortuary chapel.
