Thomas was a long-time resident of San Martin, CA. He was born in Brawley, CA on January 14, 1938. In 1955, he lied about his age to join the U.S. Navy. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Irene Brown.

In 1967, Thomas bought a small tire store in San Martin and over the next 38 years with the help of his two sons Raymond, Tom Jr. and his wife Irene, turned it into a thriving business.

Everyone went to San Martin tires in those days. Tom was the Les Schwab of south Santa Clara Valley. He was very generous and took care of everyone’s tire needs.

In 2002, Tim and Irene moved to Reno to be close to their grandchildren. 18 months later, Irene passed away. Tim dearly missed all his friends in the San Martin area. He is survived by his two sons Raymond and Tom Jr., his brother Howard and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be July 18, 2009, 1:00 P.M. at Freewill Baptist Church, 2525 Charles St., Hughson, CA.
