Thomas Lambrick

Tom Lambrick, beloved husband of forty-eight years and wonderful father of three, died Saturday, December 5th, 2009, at his Morgan Hill home. His wife,

Diane, and sons Steve and Mark, and daughter Karina were by his side. He was 71 years old. Born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in Orillia, Ontario,

Canada, Tom spent eight years in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot and then moved to Chicago, Illinois when he joined United Air Lines. He spent

the next thirty-four years flying commercial air liners across the country, up and down the west coast and finally across the Pacific rim. He continued to fly after retiring in his 1941 Stearman Bi-plane in the Spirit of Freedom Squadron. Which performed in many parades, including Morgan Hill’s Fourth of July Parade. Tom lived a truly charmed and romantic life. He was a terrific listener, mentor, friend and will be missed dearly. The world has lost one of it’s brightest lights. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas W. Lambrick, mother, Matilda C. Lambrick and brother, Robert Lambrick. He is survived by three sisters, Joan Barton, Pauline Armstrong, Linda Harvey, daughter in law Dana Lambrick and three grandchildren, Jordan,

Christopher and Jack Lambrick.

A funeral service will be held today, Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. Interment to follow at Los Gatos Memorial Park in San Jose, CA
