Hollister resident
Thomas W. Reynolds died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002 at Stanford University Medical Center. He was 80.
Mr. Reynolds was born in Richfield, Idaho. He graduated from Ohio State University and was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy.
He came to Hollister in 1960 from Palo Alto and worked for Ferry Morse Seed Co. and Goldsmith’s Seeds as a horticulturist. He was a member of Sons In Retirement and the Saturday Priority Passport breakfast group at Hazel Hawkins Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise Reynolds of Hollister; his children and their spouses, Kim and Kelvin Malko of Hollister, Kurt and Kathie Reynolds of Soquel and Craig and Mary Reynolds of Vacaville; his brothers and sister, Bart Reynolds of Florida, Bud Reynolds and his wife, Lil, of Chico, and Dorothy Beitia of Shoshone, Idaho; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Reynolds Jr., in 1952.
Private family interment at sea is planned following cremation. Arrangements are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
Memorials are preferred to a charity of choice.
