I have to agree with everyone who has criticized the new
Citizens Voice column. It’s pathetic!
It is indeed a very bad idea and seems to only serve people who
have negative opinions to express but lack integrity to stand
behind their words. PLEASE don’t encourage this kind of
behavior.

I have very little respect for these individuals, and personally feel that we don’t need to waste space on their pitiful little opinions.
We teach our kids to communicate their feelings and opinions openly but honestly. That, we tell them, is the only way to gain trust and respect.
What is the Free Lance looking for in encouraging such a negative forum? Is this a tactic to get people involved because hardly anyone was writing to the editor up until recently?
Now that their names don’t have to be printed, a less than desirable breed of individuals feel free to butcher away?
I’m sure we’re only dealing with a small handful of Hollister residents, but who needs them?
