Here are some things to do in San Benito County this weekend.

1.) YMCA/Rotary golf tournament: The YMCA and the Hollister Rotary are hosting a golf tournament and dinner Friday at San Juan Oaks Golf Club, 3825 Union Road. The even will support YMCA’s youth development programs and Rotary scholarships for college students. The tournament and dinner is $130. Dinner only is $40. A golf clinic starts at 9:30 a.m., with registration and a book signing with Tom Flores at 10:30 a.m. The shotgun start is noon. 2.) Church hosts yard sale: The Hollister United Methodist Church will host a “Twice is Nice” yard sale Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 521 Monterey St. in Hollister. The sale will feature plenty of treasures and a hot dog lunch available for purchase.

3.) Pinnacles monument to host speakers series: Pinnacles National Monument will host a speakers series in August. Valentin Lopez, the chairman of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Council will talk on the relationship between descendants and the Pinnacles, Saturday, at 2 p.m., at the Visitor Center.

4.) Mediation at the garden: The Hollister Japanese Temple Garden, Inc., 920 Riverside Road, will host an hour of meditation Sunday, at 1:30 p.m. and again on Sept. 2. Details: 637-6361 or email do*****@ga****.com.

5.) Fifth Wall’s ‘Neverending Story’: The Fifth Wall’s production of “The Neverending Story” runs Aug. 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. at the Vault Restaurant, 452 San Benito St. Tickets are $15 for adults, with $10 admission for public workers, nurses, teachers and students. A kids’ show will be held Aug. 23, with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. The box office opens an hour before the show starts, with doors opening half an hour before the show.
