Tomi Terasaki, as she was lovingly known, went home to be with the Lord on November 6th at the age of 72 years. Tomi was a native of Niigata, Japan ,who came to the United States in December of 1954 and to San Benito County in 1960. Tomi retired from Teledyne McCormick Selph as the Lead Person of the Manufacturing Department after 33 years of service to Teledyne. Her family stated that ” besides being a great mother and a great grandmother, Tomi always cared about others, rather than placing herself first”. She was the beloved spouse of the late Ryo Terasaki who died August 6, 1994. She was the loving mother of Tatsuya Mike Terasaki (Spouse Teresa Kay) of Glendale; and Theresa Natt (Husband David) of Oregon, devoted grandmother to Briana and Micah Teresaki and Akemi and Ryoko Natt. She is survived by other family members living in Southern California and Japan. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday morning at 10 A.M. at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Private cremation will follow with interment at Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier, CA.
