Trevor L. Martin died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. He was 76.
Mr. Martin was born in San Francisco. He and his wife, Jenny, were married in 1961 in Carson City, Nev. He had lived in Hollister for the past 10 years, moving here from Morgan Hill.
He served in the U.S. Marines from 1945 to 1949 and was a graduate of Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Mr. Martin was an avid 49er fan, played golf in his younger years, liked to collect old movies and spent a great deal of time with his dog, Abbie. Prior to retirement, he was a representative in the insurance business.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Martin of Hollister; children Donna Mazon of Vista, Calif., Sherri (Michael) Spingola of Sacramento, and Cathy Martin of Fremont; and brother Norman Martin of Sacramento.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Benni Barto, who died in 1995.
Private family services will be held with private family inurnment.
Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
