achieved a Pacific Reportable time in the 50-backstroke at the
Faultline Fiesta Swim Meet in Hollister last weekend.
Tanner Carrillo-Zazueta of the San Benito Aquatic Swim Club achieved a Pacific Reportable time in the 50-backstroke at the Faultline Fiesta Swim Meet in Hollister last weekend. Carrillo-Zazueta, age eight, swam a 40.26 for first place at a meet which had over 400 swimmers participating. Zazueta-Carrillo capped off a fine weekend with five second places.

Kathryn Adamek, age 15, placed second in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:18.58. Adamek took second in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:06.54.

Emily Blondin, age eight, had a stellar weekend with first place finishes in the 50-freestyle (59.58) and the 25-free (27.27).

Blane Curtice, age 13, contributed three first place times – in the 100-free (55.56), the 50-free (25.38) and the 200-free (2:01.16).

Other firsts for SBA were Jessie Drogemuller (50-free), Stephanie Ego (50-back), Ricky Garcia (50-free, 100-free, 100 IM), Demi Gatrell (100-free, 100 IM), Mykala Haaland (25-free), Kelsey Larson (50-back), Lauren Martin (200-free), Mitch Molchan (50-breast), Erin Reed (100-fly, 50-free), Shelli Reed (100-back), Robbie Shattuck (100-fly, 200-breast), Christian Smith (100-free, 100-fly, 50-free), David Smith (50-free), Joel Smith (100-free, 100-fly), Ronnie Stern (100-breast,, 50-breast), Nathan Thomas (50-free, 50-breast).

Anyone interested in joining SBA should report to the Hollister High pool Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. and see coach Dave Steele.
