earthquakes near Pinnacles National Monument, starting with a

more aftershocks, according to authorities and the U.S. Geological
Survey.

The first quake, the largest one, hit at 12:18 a.m. and was followed a few minutes later by a 3.6-magnitude aftershock and another 3.3-magnitude temblor at 1:19 a.m. The latest aftershock occurred at 9:42 a.m. and was registered at 3.0.
Firefighting crews at the Hollister Fire Department and Calfire’s Bear Valley station near the epicenter said they did not receive any related reports for damage or other issues.
The earthquakes were in the same general area. The first one was four miles north/northwest of the Pinnacles and 22 miles southeast of Hollister, according to the USGS.
