Police have identified the victim found early Wednesday in a possible homicide.
Hollister police are investigating a “suspicious death” as a potential homicide after finding a male with apparent head trauma on Scenic Circle, according to the Hollister Police Department.
Police identified the victim as Raul Delarosa, 28, of Hollister, according to a statement.
According to police, at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a medical aid call with the fire department for a non-responsive male in the 2000 block of Scenic Circle.
Responders administered medical aid but the male died at the scene. Detectives identified apparent head trauma, and it is being investigated as a homicide pending further investigation and an autopsy, according to the HPD.
