The softball team will begin its trek for a seventh-straight Central Coast Section title against St. Francis at 12:10 p.m. Saturday at the Salinas Sports Complex.
The two teams have not faced each other this year.
The Lancers, who competed in the West Catholic Athletic League, are 18-8 on the season, including a 3-1 win over North Salinas.
SBHS baseball
The Balers will face Archbishop Mitty at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hartnell College. It’s the second game between the two teams this year.Â
Mitty defeated San Benito 2-1 in April.Â
