The Bach to Blues showcase entertained music fans Saturday at the Gavilan College Theater. The event featured regional talent including Gavilan College faculty, students and performers; pianist Maria Amirkhanian; flamenco guitarist Alberto Marques; blues guitarist John Garcia; and more.
This year’s special guest performers were the Watsonville Taiko drumming community that combines folklore, mythology and symbolism in its performances.
All proceeds benefited the Gavilan College Music Program.
