Jinny passed away after a massive stroke at the age of 90.

Born in San Francisco, she grew up in Burlingame, graduated from UC Berkeley, married and raised a family in Redwood City, and enjoyed her last 36 years in Hollister.

A lady of exceptional and varied talents from her athletic prowess in swimming, diving, and aquaplaning to the delightful music we loved to hear when she played her violin or filled the house with her beautiful voice. Smart and insightful, thoughtful and caring, and always gracious.

Devoted to her husband John for 67 years of marriage; to her children Scott, Jay, and Lynn; and to her grandchildren Lindsay and Annie. She is loved and admired by all.

Jinny enriched the lives of everyone around her and will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Hospice or the P.E.O. Scholarship Fund. A gathering to celebrate her life is being planned.
