Waltraud I. (Trudy) Rasmussen passed away at her Hollister home. She was born in Weimar,Germany and came to Hollister from Marina 33 years ago. She is preceded in death by her husband, Neal Rasmussen who died in 1966.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Regina and George Nava of Hollister, her brother and sisters, Gunter Heinze of Hanau, Germany, Inga Schbelski of Hanau, Germany and Johanna Jager of Fredricksburg, VA, her grandchildren; Anthony Nava, Gina Nava, Jodi Nava and Tim Nava and her great- grandson, Andrew Nava.
Friends can pay their respects on Thursday, June 28th from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. A procession will leave the funeral home at 3:00 P.M. for entombment at Calvary Cemetery at 3:15 P.M.
Donations are preferred to Hospice, c/o the funeral home.
