On Friday, November 5, 2010, Warren (Butch) Siler passed away peacefully at home with his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Butch served his country for two tours in the Vietnam War and loved the outdoors. He worked for West Valley Construction as an estimator for the majority of his career but retired from The Don Chapin Company.

He was an avid hunter and had a tag and dog for every season! He made sure he passed on his love and knowledge of hunting and fishing to his grandsons.

One of his favorite activities was cruising the back roads with his kids and grandkids talking about the good ol’ days. He knew most of the local San Benito County ranchers and took great pride in their friendships.

He is survived by his wife Debbie, daughters Christine (Jeff) Churchill, Tifani Bath (Alex Paoli) and Kelleigh Alldridge, sons Danny and Gary Siler, grandchildren Andrue Valles, Gavyn Churchill, Anthony Bath, Aleksandria Paoli, Rikki Alldridge, Michael and David Siler along with an extended family that meant the world to him.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Relay for Life or American Cancer Society.
