Wayne Heppler was a native of Utah. He was the son of Rue and Marva Heppler.

He was born in Cedar City and grew up in Beaver. Wayne received his Bachelors Degree from Utah State and his Masters in Physics from Santa Clara University.

In 1954 he joined the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in Point Arena and Red Bluff, CA during his years of service.

He and his wife Annette moved to the Bay Area in 1973. He formed a data imaging company named DeAnza Systems with his friend Chuck Masters. Wayne retired in 1983 and moved to Hollister in 1992.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Annette and loving daughters Jill Shore, Tina Cassidy, Michele Heppler, and Cherie Heppler. Wayne has been reunited with his only son, Robert, who passed away in 2004.

He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Devin, Cory, Justin, Curtis, McKenzie, Bryce, Christina, Braden, and Brent. He is also survived by his sister Marlynn Smith and brothers Gaylen, Jerry, and Jack Heppler.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Friday, July 22nd, 2011, at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Rd., Santa Nella, beginning at 1:30 P.M.

Friends are also invited to join the Heppler Family for a Celebration of Life Reception that evening beginning at 6:00 P.M. in the Diablo Room at Ridgemark Golf & Country Club 3800 Airline Highway, Hollister.
