Sgt. William Gonzales’ letter to the editor dated Sept. 3
states,

These letters to the editor contain numerous other falsehoods,
omissions and distortions…

yet he only mentions the Johnson case, which I didn’t write
about.
Of course, I can only answer to the three letters I wrote, so
let’s clear the air and set the record straight as to what is false
and or distorted. Sergeant, I would like you to tell us which of
the following is factual. Yes, no … fact or fiction
Sgt. William Gonzales’ letter to the editor dated Sept. 3 states, “These letters to the editor contain numerous other falsehoods, omissions and distortions…” yet he only mentions the Johnson case, which I didn’t write about.

Of course, I can only answer to the three letters I wrote, so let’s clear the air and set the record straight as to what is false and or distorted. Sergeant, I would like you to tell us which of the following is factual. Yes, no … fact or fiction.

1. Was Robert Orabuena wrongly charged by John Sarsfield with second-degree murder and torture and weren’t these charges dropped?

2. Was Robert Orabuena wrongly charged by Sarsfield with DUI … marijuana and was this charge also dropped?

3. Not satisfied with the DOJ tests, the District Attorney had the urine tested a total of three times. Did all the tests come back negative for drugs and alcohol?

4. Didn’t witness statements indicate Robert Orabuena was following the rules of the road at the time of the accident?

5. Was Robert Orabuena held in jail over 30 days with an excessive bail of $1 million before ever being arraigned by a judge?

6. Did the CHP mess up the accident scene investigation and did they have to do it twice?

7. Was the CHP drug recognition expert wrong when he determined that Orabuena was under the influence of marijuana?

8. In the Santos case; did John Sarsfield and his DDA Steven Wagner recognize the fact that the police had given a bad Miranda warning?

9. Was Sarsfield caught with his pants down and did the judge throw out the confession of one of the defendants because of the Miranda warning?

10. In the Solorio disappearing tape case, was DDA Steven Wagner removed from prosecuting the case?

11. Was the tape actually missing for 11 months and was it alleged to have been altered?

12. Are there still three murders unsolved by the Hollister Police Department?

Sergeant, these are the facts and as a “law enforcement officer,” you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to twist them, implying that I’m a liar to suit you own personal political agenda. By the way, if I decide to “… ask a cop…” about the DA, it will be an honest one that works here in our community, not one from San Jose.
