William “Bill” Vieira died Saturday, September 4, 2004 afternoon at the age of 80 at the Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility.

He was born and raised in Hollister and would have been 81 on September 26. Bill is survived by his brothers, Dick Vieira and wife, Carmen, of Hollister and Ed Vieira and wife, Shirley, of San Jose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. He had lived with his parents, Charles and Louise Vieira, both deceased. He was well known in Hollister, especially at Jerry’s Restaurant. Years ago he was their custodian and later became a steady customer. A graveside service will be Thursday morning at 10:30am at Calvary Cemetery, 1100 Hillcrest Rd., in Hollister. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory in Hollister.
