William H. Weinheimer was born February 12, 1940, in Syracuse, NY. He passed away on October 26, in Hollister, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Weinheimer of Syracuse, NY. He is survived by his spouse Carolyn (Polly) Weinheimer, daughter Lara Weinheimer (Bill Raabe) of Hobbs, NM, and daughter Amy Jacobsen (Kurt) of La Honda, CA, and seven siblings in New York and Massachusetts, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Per his request, no services will be held.

Mr. Weinheimer was Research Manager for Agrigentics’ seed research programs in Hollister, CA, and Research Manager for FMC-Niagara Seeds in Davis, CA. He was a manager of the Hollister Farmers’ Market, and most recently a vendor for Blossoming Orchids at farmers’ markets in Northern California.

He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University, his Master’s Degree from the University of Idaho, and his PhD. Degree from the University of Minnesota.

He was a collector of books and cacti, an avid reader, lover of music, and ardent hiker at Pinnacles National Monument.
