William Olds Hartley, a World War II Veteran and San Jose City retiree, died peacefully on December 8, 2009 at the age of 82. He was a resident of Valley Pines Retirement Home in Morgan Hill. He was born on December 16, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to Claude and Matilda Hartley.
William is survived by his sister, Ruth and five children, Danny, Bill, Pam, Trudie, and Cathy. He is further survived by his many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Ed and sister Marge.
Services will be held at on 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 14, 2009, at Bethel Church, Skyway Chapel, 1201 South Winchester Blvd. San Jose, CA , followed by inurnment service at Los Gatos Memorial Cemetery located on Los Gatos-Almaden Blvd.
