Wilma McFadden Owsley, 87, of Salinas died suddenly and
unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Wilma McFadden Owsley, 87, of Salinas died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

She was born in Tennessee but had lived in Salinas for 48 years. She was a caring friend to many as well as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her four sons, Jerry McFadden and his late wife Linda of San Jose, Don McFadden and wife, Teddy, of Hollister, Larry McFadden and wife Betty of Salinas and Royce McFadden and wife Vicki or Riverbank; seven grandchildren, Robert McFadden, Kelley McFadden Hernandez of Hollister, Greg McFadden of San Jose, Jeff McFadden of Long Beach, Britt McFadden of Fresno, and Conor and Hayden Owsley of Salinas; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Hernandez and Sara Hernandez of Hollister.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Owsley.

She was a charter member (1961) of the Apostolic Full Gospel Church in Hollister.

Friends may call at the Healey Mortuary on Thursday from 1 to 9pm and are invited to the service which will be held Friday at 10am in the mortuary chapel.
