Winnie Williams, age 89, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, entered into rest peacefully on 11-10-06. She was the wife of the late Reginald Williams, beloved mother of Janice Avila (Ray), Gae-Lynne Stewart (Al), Ross Williams (Heidi) and Garry Williams (Peggy); cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 15. She was a 23 year resident of Gilroy and honorary member of Beta Sigma Phi. Winnie had a passion and a love of bingo, enjoyed flowers and dogs, of which “Peanut” was her favorite.
Friends are invited to the funeral service on Nov.16, 2006 at 10 am at Oak Hill Funeral Home, San Jose. Interment will follow. Visitation will be Nov. 15, 2006 from 10 am to 8 pm.
