Hollister – A 19-year-old Hollister woman was arrested Saturday morning after she flashed and struck a security guard in an attempt to gain entry to a downtown bar, the Hollister Police Department reported.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of battery, resisting arrest and public intoxication, all misdemeanors, at 12:31am Saturday outside of the Broken Wing, 500 San Benito St., Hollister, police said.

Police Capt. Richard Vasquez said the woman walked into the bar with a group of people who had valid identifications. When security guards asked the underage woman for identification, she could not provide one, Vasquez said.

The security guards escorted the woman outside, where she became upset and lifted her top in an attempt to gain entry, Vasquez said.

When that didn’t work, she became angry and pushed one of the security guards, the captain said.

Officers arrived and arrested the woman, who became uncooperative and began flailing her arms, Vasquez said.
