Yukio Shingai died April 15, 2012 at the age of 94. He was born in Gilroy, CA. on February 23, 1918.
He is survived by his children; Bob (Barbara) Shingai, Patti (Larry) Yamada, Dan (Gloria Campodonica), and Wayne (Mary Ann) Shingai; grandchildren; Stephanie (Jeff Fong) and Matthew Shingai, Greg and Nicole Yamada, Dana and Kelli Shingai; brother; Sam (Sumi) Shingai, sister-in-law Marge Shingai.
His death was preceded by the passing of his wife of 63 years, Tsunaye Jean Shingai and his brother Isaac and sisters Fukiye and Chiyoko.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012, at 2:00 P.M., at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA.
