Adela Castaneda-Ruiz, 86 years old, passed away on April 25, 2012 at her residence in Gilroy. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Ruben (Sofie) Acosta, Mike Acosta, Jr., Joe (Jessica) Acosta, Conrado (Irvina) Acosta, Armando (Nilda) Acosta and Ronnie Acosta. She will be missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a brother and two sisters.
Memorial services were held Monday at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Donations can be made in memory of Adela to The Kingdom Hall, 8530 Forest St., Gilroy, CA 95020.
