Gubser, Doris D., was born in Oklahoma on Oct. 7, 1921 and passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2009 at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Gubser; loving mother of Lucienne (David) Levine of San Jose and the late James Gubser; devoted grandmother of Joseph (Shannon) Levine and great grandmother of Noah Levine. Dearest sister of Lois Booth; dear sister-in-law of Lorraine Mitchell, Betty Dexter and Arlene Painter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was an active member and past president of Beta Sigma Phi, Past President of Woman In Touch and also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She was also an advid traveler.
Visitation will be held on Wed., Jan. 14, 2009, from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th Street, Gilroy, CA 9520.
Funeral Service will be on Thurs., Jan 15, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by entombment at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
