Dr. Pankaj Oza was born in the loving home of Govindlal and Ramagauri on June 18, 1945 and became “Vaikundh Vaasi” (joined with the abode of Lord Krishna) on Jan. 1 at his home in Morgan Hill.

He is survived by his beloved wife Reena; his children Satyen, Pranay; daughter-in-law Shilpa; his brothers Kandarp, Sudhir, Pradip; and sister Siddhida.

Born and raised in the city of Ahmedabad, India, he excelled in medicine and became a professor of physiology at B.J. Medical College Civil Hospital. Very generous at heart, he led many philanthropic medical camps and helped needy individuals get medical help at no cost.

He also served for a short term as clinical assistant at Perth Amboy General Hospital in New Jersey.

After his early retirement he chose to spend time with his lovely granddaughters Shivani and Tejal at his family residence in Morgan Hill.

Funeral Services and Cremation have been held at Habing Family Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory in Gilroy.
