Bob Gomez died of heart complications at the age of 49 on Nov. 2 in Stockton.

He was born May 12, 1955 in San Bernadino, then moved to San Juan Bautista at the age of 13 where he was an alter boy in the San Juan Church.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Gomez and Robert Gomez; brother Mark Martinez; sister Debra Gomez; and two nephews Mathew Martinez and Mario Campos. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Bob was a longtime resident of Hollister where he went to San Benito High School and was a Pop Warner Football coach, women’s softball coach, a volunteer high school coach, and a dedicated member to the ECV Society. He worked in Seaside as a Ford Parts Manager for Cypress Coast Ford for the past nine years.

Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 12 at noon at Sacred Heart Church in Hollister, followed by burial and a reception in San Juan Bautista. Please call 209-477-7504 and ask for Mike or Barbara with any questions.
