 Albert Benjamin Silva passed away on July 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie; survived by his son Ron Silva, nephews Robert Gomes and Robbie Moore and his longtime friends Juanita and Gary Nilmeyer.
 Albert was a dairy farmer in Gilroy for over 50 years, as well as driving truck. He was one of the last true cowboys and an avid team roper.
